Kalanchoes are known for their thick, fleshy leaves and attractive, often colourful flowers. The main thing to remember is to not over water them. Only water when the top few centimetres of the compost are dry and water very sparingly in winter. Ensure that water can always drain away.

Kalanchoe plants grown indoors do best with bright, indirect light. Plant outdoor kalanchoes in partial shade to full sun.
